Chartier Specialty Sweets is a fully-licensed, premium custom bakery in Calgary that specializes in wedding cakes and specialty desserts. It’s owned and operated by Cindy Chartier, who originally hails from Montreal.
For many years, Cindy baked specialty cakes and desserts for family and friends using old family recipes handed down to her. Cindy turned her passion into a business and launched her fully licensed bakery in Calgary in 2016.
Cindy’s grandfather, Joseph, was a wedding cake baker in Montreal. Now, Cindy combines old family recipes, classic French techniques, and modern approaches to make beautiful, delicious desserts.

Trained in numerous advanced baking and decoration techniques, as well as vegan and gluten-free baking, Cindy works out of a professional kitchen in south Calgary. She loves to delight her clientele and works hard to make sure every cake and dessert tastes just as good as it looks.
